Teeth Whitening

If you’re thinking of sprucing up your smile without spending a lot on cosmetic dentistry, professional teeth whitening may be the solution. In one office visit or a few weeks of at-home use, you can be flashing your bright, beautiful smile everywhere you go.

A Brighter Smile with Teeth Whitening

At Harbor Point Family Dentistry, we offer cosmetic dentistry and a range of treatments to improve your smile. The most popular with our patients is teeth whitening; it’s easy, affordable, and delivers brilliant results in a short amount of time.

Our dentist offers both in-office and take-home treatments at our Mooresville, NC dental office. Either one will whiten your teeth by several shades to give you a bright, refreshed smile and a boost of confidence.

Teeth Whitening Can Revive a Dull Smile

As we age, everyone’s teeth start to look a little yellow or faded after years of wear and tear. As the years go by, microscopic pores open up in tooth enamel. Over time, food particles or stains collect in these tiny holes and gradually dull your once-bright smile.

The food and lifestyle choices we make also contribute to the dulling of our teeth. Consuming foods and drinks like coffee, red wine, and soy sauce deposit stains on teeth that are impossible to remove at home with brushing and flossing.

Smoking cigarettes or chewing tobacco leaves behind ugly brown and yellow stains that can only be removed with professional teeth whitening.

Professional Teeth Whitening in Mooresville, NC

Our patients have unique needs, so we offer two types of professional teeth whitening at our Mooresville, NC dental office to meet them.

In-Office Whitening for Fast Results

You have a big job interview coming up, or you’re getting ready to leave on vacation, and you notice your smile is looking pretty dim. In this case, we recommend in-office teeth whitening. The procedure takes about an hour, and you’ll see a significantly brighter smile right away.

Custom Take-Home Whitening Kits

Since it’s impossible for some people to break away from their routine for an in-office whitening appointment, we also offer customized take-home kits. You can use the customized trays and prescription-strength whitening gel at home for 2-3 weeks and achieve brilliant results.

Don’t confuse professional take-home whitening kits with those you purchase at your drug store. The whitening gel included in OTC products is no match for the prescription-strength whitening gel included in our kits. If you have tooth sensitivity, we can adjust the potency of the gel to minimize any discomfort.

And instead of generic trays, we customize your whitening trays using impressions of your teeth. Trays that closely conform to the shape of your teeth deliver brighter, more consistent results that you can count on.

Schedule a Teeth Cleaning Appointment

Our dentist and hygienists highly recommend a teeth cleaning before you use professional teeth whitening. This extra step removes every trace of plaque and tartar and ensures that your teeth are super clean and ready for whitening.

Professional teeth whitening is a fast and affordable way to make a dramatic change to your smile. Please call our Mooresville, NC dental office to schedule a teeth cleaning.
